SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) UPDATE - 22/03/2020
In recent weeks we have taken all possible precautions to ensure that our simulators can remain open and a safe environment for our customers to visit.
It is with enormous sadness that, on the basis of the latest Government advice, we have taken the decision to temporarily close our doors with immediate effect. This decision has been taken in order to protect our customers and their families.
As many of you will already know, we are only a small business and are just as vulnerable in this situation as many other businesses. It is heartbreaking that following 3 years of hard work and after all the fantastic support we have had from so many of you, we have had to take this decision to close our doors for now.
We need to be able to sell vouchers and run sim sessions to be able to survive, but ultimately our customers and their families health is far more important to us. We do not want to be in a position where we might contribute in any way to the spread of this virus.
At present we are planning to reopen on May 1st but this will, of course, be dependent on the situation at that time. We will monitor the situation closely and will not hesitate to take further difficult decisions in the interests of our customers.
Those of you who have sessions booked between now and May 1st will have already heard from us directly via email in relation to the postponement of your session. If you have not received an email from us then please contact us straight away and do not travel to your session as you will not get past the security gate. For any customer who may be concerned about their voucher running out, please do not worry. With immediate effect we are applying a 6 month extension to ALL our vouchers. This applies to vouchers purchased from ourselves AND from our voucher partners such as Groupon, Virgin, Buy a Gift, Experience Days etc (these must be redeemed with us to qualify). These extensions will be applied in addition to any other extension already granted either by ourselves or by the voucher sites.
If matters do not improve over the coming months, we will be applying further extensions. Please rest assured that none of our customers will be unable to attend in the future due to a voucher expiring whilst this crisis continues.
We will continue to be contactable in all the usual ways while our offices are closed to visitors. Please note our correct office number is 0330 124 8777. You will likely get a response fastest if you email us, since our front office desk will not always be manned during the shutdown.
Although we may be closed to the public for the next few weeks, you can rest assured we will be working away behind the scenes to continue to improve and develop our simulators. We will always strive to make sure that we continue to provide you with the best flight simulator experience in the UK when you do visit!
