Here are some frequently asked questions (FAQs) about our simulator experiences:

Q: Do I need any flying experience?

A: No, most of our customers have no flying experience. Our sessions are tailored to your level of knowledge and expertise, and our team will ensure you have a fantastic time regardless of your experience level.

Q: Are your simulators realistic?

A: Yes, our simulators are among the most advanced and realistic in the world. Our Seneca simulator is a real aircraft, and our Boeing 737 is a high-fidelity professional simulation device. They provide a total immersion experience with full wrap-around visuals, sound, and vibration systems.

Q: Do your simulators have motion?

A: Our simulators are fixed-base devices and do not have physical motion. However, our simulators feature fully immersive visual display systems that provide a convincing and realistic experience. Many of our customers report feeling a sense of movement due to the immersive visuals.

Q: How do I book my flight?

A: Sessions can be booked through our online booking portal. Simply click the link at the top of the page to schedule your visit.  Alternatively you can email our bookings team at bookings@virtualflightexperience.co.uk or call us 09.00 to 17.00 Monday to Friday on 0330 124 8777.

Q: What are your opening times?

A: We are open from Monday to Friday, 09.00 to 17.00 and most Saturdays 08.00 to 15.00.

Q: Can I bring a child along with me?

A: Our insurance policy does not cover children under the age of 10 on the premises, including the car park. Please do not bring children under 10 with you, as it will result in us having to reschedule your session, which mean that a late cancellation fee will be incurred.

Q: Can I come to have a look around before I book?

A: Unfortunately no.  Due to the nature of our business and the fact that we are located on a secure, private gated estate, we cannot accept drop-in visitors. Please do not arrive without a confirmed simulator booking as access to site cannot be granted without an appointment.

Q: Are there any size limitations?

A: Our Boeing 737 simulator has limited space and is suitable for individuals with good general mobility who can bend and twist their bodies unaided. If you have poor mobility, are over 6'5" tall, or over 20 stone in weight, please contact us before booking.  Please call us if you have any doubts.

Q:  What if I need to rearrange my appointment?

A:  Once a session is booked and a date and time confirmed, you can change it so long as we are provided at least 7 days notice in writing.  Cancellations made within 7 days of the experience date are not rebookable and non refundable although we will always do everything we can to try to assist you.  Therefore the sooner you contact us and the more notice you provide, the more chance we will have of helping you.

Q: What about disabled access?

A: Our simulators are not suitable for disabled guests. They are also not recommended for guests with claustrophobia, motion sickness, epilepsy, restricted mobility, or a nervous disposition.

Q: Can I bring a friend along?

A: Yes, you can bring a spectator to accompany you at no extra charge. Additional spectators can accompany you into our Boeing 737 for £10 per guest (up to 3 additional spectators), and one additional guest can watch you fly our Seneca. Please note that only one person can fly the simulator unless you have purchased multiple vouchers.

Q: Can larger groups be accommodated?

A: Yes, please contact us for more details or see our sections on corporate and party events.

Q: Can I buy an experience as a gift?

A: Absolutely! Our experiences make unforgettable gifts. You can purchase a flight and transfer it to someone of your choosing. It will be a gift they will never forget.

Q: Do you have parking on site?

A: Yes, we have free parking in our secured, off-road facility. If you have an oversized vehicle and have no other means of visiting us then please contact us before your visit so we can assist as our access is not  suitable for large vehicles such as motorhomes.  If you have any doubts about your vehicles suitability for our site please contact us before you visit so we can assist.

Q: Where are you located?

A: Our simulator centre is located in Wolvey village in Warwickshire, near Hinckley.  We are located in between Leicester and Coventry with excellent access to the motorway network. See our contact page for full address and map.
