FAQs

Do I need any flying experience?
Absolutely not, in fact many of our customers have no flying experience whatsoever. Our sessions are tailored to suit the level of knowledge and expertise you have.

Do the simulators have motion?

Our simulators are fixed base devices which means they do not move. However the total immersion experience combined with the full wrap around visuals, sound and vibration give an amazing sensory experience.

How do I book my flight?

Our sessions are booked via our online booking portal.  Click the link at the top of this page.

When can I book my flight?

You may book your flight as soon as you have received your confirmation email following checkout.  Just give us a call or drop us an email and we will do the rest.  Our vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of issue which is the time by when you must take your session, not just book it.

What are your opening times?

We are open Monday to Saturday 9am to 5pm.

Can I just turn up?

No, due to the nature of the experience and the fact that we are located on a secure private estate we are unable to accept drop in callers.  Please do not arrive at our gates without an appointment as we will not be able to grant you access.

Are there any age or size limitations?

The minimum age is 10 for both pilots and spectators. We are sadly not able to accommodate children under that age at our centre.  There is no upper age limit but guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult who must sign our waiver agreement on behalf of the pilot.  Due to seat height variables, 4 feet or taller is recommended to see the runway environment with the visual display system.  Our 737 is an exact replica of the flight deck of the real aircraft and as such, it is a bit of a squeeze to get in.  Consequently our simulator is suitable only for people with good general mobility who are able to bend and twist their bodies unaided. Guests who have poor mobility, are over 6'3" tall or over 18 stone in weight should talk to us before booking as our simulator may not be suitable for you.  This is even more important in our Seneca sim as that is a real light aircraft and does require a fair degree of mobility in order to squeeze into position.

What about disabled access?
Our simulators are not appropriate for disabled guests.  They are also not recommended for guests who suffer from claustrophobia, motion sickness, epilepsy, those with restricted mobility or with a nervous disposition.

Can I bring a friend along?

Yes of course. You are welcome to bring a guest with you to enjoy your experience at no extra charge.  Up to 2 additional guests may also accompany you at a cost of £10 per guest, please note that you may bring only 1 guest into our Seneca.  Photo ID is required for everyone entering the simulator.

Can larger groups be accommodated as well?

Yes.  Please contact us for more details or see our sections on corporate and party events.

Can I buy an experience as a gift?

Absolutely, one of our experiences would be an unforgettable gift for someone.  You are very welcome to buy a flight and transfer it to someone of your choosing.  You can be sure that this will be one gift they will never forget!

Is the information I supply secure?
Yes, our Buy Now process is handled by PayPal and you will be directed to the PayPal site to make payment.  This also means you are covered by PayPals guarantees in relation to your purchase.

Do I need to bring identification?

Yes, due to the potential security implications of the experience and training we provide we are required to verify all clients flying via valid photo ID such as a drivers licence or passport.  In the case of minors then we are required to ID the accompanying adult. This information will be held on file for our official use, we will never sell your details on.  You will be required to present ID at check in and there are no exceptions to this rule.  Please note that if you do not bring valid Photo ID with you then we will be unable to allow you into the simulator. View our GDPR compliance statement.

Is alcohol allowed in the centre?

No, due to the delicate nature of the simulator components we operate a strict no alcohol policy.  Clients who appear to be intoxicated or under the influence of banned substances will not be able to enter the simulator and will be asked to leave without refund.  We also reserve the right to refuse entry at our absolute discretion to anyone who we deem to be unsuitable for this experience.
