FAQs

Do I need any flying experience?
No, in fact most of our customers have no flying experience whatsoever. Our sessions are tailored to suit the level of knowledge and expertise you have and our friendly instructors will make sure you have a fantastic time, no matter what your experience level.

Are your simulators realistic?

Yes.  Our simulators are amongst the most advanced and realistic simulators in the world. Our Seneca simulator is a real aircraft and our Boeing 737 is a high fidelity professional training device.  Our simulators provide a total immersion experience due to their full wrap around visuals, sound and vibration systems.

Your pricing seems to be less than some other simulator centres, is that because you are not as good?

We are one of the most popular and financially stable flight simulator centres in the country.  This enables us to offer our customers affordable pricing, meaning that anyone can enjoy the thrill of flying the leading simulator experience in the UK without paying over the odds.  Over 700 5 star reviews across various review platforms and the highest accolade from Trip Advisor for the last 4 years in a row should tell you everything you need to know about how good our experiences and our simulators are!

Do your simulators have motion?

Our simulators are fixed base trainers which means they do not move.  That having been said, our simulators (unlike nearly all "motion" devices) feature fully immersive modern visual display systems.  What your eyes tell you is more important than motion when it comes to fooling the mind into believing the flight is real and that is where our sims really stand out.  Our simulators are amongst the most convincing and realistic flight simulators available and most of our customers report that they feel they are actually moving due to the immersion provided by our visual systems.   If you are looking for the ultimate in realism, then you have come to the right place.

How do I book my flight?

Our sessions are booked via our online booking portal.  Click the link at the top of this page to schedule your visit.

When can I book my flight?

You may book your flight as soon as you have received your confirmation email following checkout.  Our vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of issue which is the time by when you must take your session, not just book it.

What are your opening times?

We are open Monday to Saturday 9am to 5pm.

Can I just turn up?

No, due to the nature of the business we operate and the fact that we are located on a secure private estate we are unable to accept drop in callers.  Please do not arrive at our gates without an appointment as we will not be able to grant you access.

Are there any age or size limitations?

The minimum age is 10 for both pilots and spectators. We are sadly not able to accommodate children under that age at our centre.  There is no upper age limit but guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.    Our 737 is an exact replica of the flight deck of the real aircraft and as such, it is a bit of a squeeze to get in.  Consequently our simulator is suitable only for people with good general mobility who are able to bend and twist their bodies unaided. Guests who have poor mobility, are over 6'3" tall or over 18 stone in weight should talk to us before booking as our simulators may not be suitable for you.  This is even more important in our Seneca sim as that is a real light aircraft and does require a fair degree of mobility in order to squeeze into position.  If in doubt, please call us and we will be happy to discuss the options with you.

What about disabled access?
Our simulators are not appropriate for disabled guests.  They are also not recommended for guests who suffer from claustrophobia, motion sickness, epilepsy, those with restricted mobility or with a nervous disposition.

Can I bring a friend along?

Yes of course. You are welcome to bring a guest with you to enjoy your experience at no extra charge.  Up to 3 additional guests may also accompany you into our Boeing 737 at a cost of £10 per guest, and you can bring one additional guest to watch you fly our Seneca.   Please note that only one person will be able to fly the simulator unless you have purchased multiple vouchers.

Can larger groups be accommodated as well?

Yes.  Please contact us for more details or see our sections on corporate and party events.

Can I buy an experience as a gift?

Absolutely, one of our experiences would be an unforgettable gift for someone.  You are very welcome to buy a flight and transfer it to someone of your choosing.  You can be sure that this will be one gift they will never forget!

Do you have parking on site?

Yes we have ample free parking in our secured, off road facility, but we do ask you to visit us in one car.

Do I need to bring identification?

Yes, due to the potential security implications of the service we offer, we do conduct spot checks to ensure the person booked in is the person who visits us.  Please bring valid photo ID with you.  In the case of minors then we are required to ID the accompanying adult.   Please note that if you do not bring valid Photo ID with you then you may not be able to enter the simulator.

Are alcohol, food or drinks allowed in the centre?

No, due to the delicate nature of the simulator components we operate a strict no alcohol, food or drinks policy.  Clients who appear to be intoxicated or under the influence of banned substances will not be able to enter the simulator and will be asked to leave without refund.

We also reserve the right to refuse entry at our absolute discretion to anyone who we deem to be unsuitable for this experience.
